Is FoodCore actually Natasha's Law compliant?
Yes. FoodCore generates PPDS (pre-packed for direct sale) labels with a full ingredient list, allergens bolded in the ingredient list exactly as required by Natasha's Law. The allergen data is derived directly from your recipe ingredients — there's no separate allergen form to fill in. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your ingredient data.
Where is my data stored and who can see it?
Your instance runs on a server in the UK (DigitalOcean, London region). Your data is in an isolated container — it's not in a shared database and is not accessible to other FoodCore customers. We can access your instance for support purposes, but we don't sell or share your data with third parties.
What happens if I cancel?
Cancel any time — there's no minimum contract period on the monthly plan. Before your instance is shut down, we'll give you a full data export so you keep your recipes, labels, and order history.
Can I migrate from my current system?
If you're working from spreadsheets, we can help import your recipe and ingredient data during setup. Send us your spreadsheet and we'll sort it. We also support migration from tools like Kafoodle — export from your current tool and import directly, recipes and allergens come across automatically.
Do I need any technical knowledge to use it?
No. You get a link to your FoodCore instance and a login. It runs in any browser — no app to install, no updates to manage. We handle all the technical side.
